100% wool batting from US batting mills. This listing is for a one pound sheet of batting wool that measures 41"x20"x4". It's super thick and nice and dense.
The wool is scoured (washed) with only biodegradable soap and hot water. Since we do not use harsh chemicals to clean the wool you may find a very small amount of vegetable matter in the batting.
Wool makes a great fill for bed pillows, pillow inserts, comforters and quilts or anything you need to stuff. It wool also makes a great core wool for needle felting projects. We use this wool to stuff our bed pillows and pillow inserts. It takes about 2 pounds of wool batting to firmly stuff a standard pillow (20"x26").
Why wool?
For one thing, wool is a natural product that is sustainable - sheep grow it every year - and biodegradable. Put it in the ground for six months and it decomposes and improves the soil. And when it breaks down, any small amounts of this biodegradable material will not harm waterways or fish living in those waterways.
Wool is also naturally fire retardant, anti-fungal and anti-microbial. Plus dust mites don't like wool and stay away from it making it natural dust mite resistant.
It's an amazing fiber and we think it's the best batting you can find!
The shipping cost is set for one pound of wool. We will combine shipping and if your final cost is less expensive, we will refund you any shipping overages. For large orders, we check with UPS and may be able to provide less expensive shipping. If you have any questions, please email ceceswool@gmail.com or call (518)779-9985.
For bulk orders or if you have any questions, please email ceceswoolwholesale@gmail.com. We provide a discount if you order 10 or more pounds.

wool batting
I purchased this wool to replace the foam in my pillow and it worked great, I also bought some cotton batting and am thoroughly impressed with both items.

Love it
I couldn’t believe how fast my order shipped and arrived! The batting is thick and soft and warm - and it smells so good and woolly!

Wool batting
My order came very quickly. I bought this wool batting to add more wool to my wool pillow that I purchased about a year and a half ago from Cece's wool. I love my wool pillow so much! It really does keep me cool and comfortable. I highly recommend Cece's Wool to anyone looking for a natural pillow alternative.

Pillow Stuffer
First I’d like to say that it arrived on schedule. It is excellent batting and not over-fluffed. It is layered as well. A few seeds, but not an issue for my use. I bought this to add loft and firmness to my bed pillow. I cut several layers to size, 20x30” and placed it in a zippered hypoallergenic pillow bag. Then inserted it into my zippered multi layer pillow. The pillow has memory foam on one side and Dacron fill on the other, which lasted at least a week, cause I like a pillow I can wrestle with; tough but tender. There was enough batting to do 4 pillows with some left over. I finally have the pillow of my dreams, and get a good enough nights sleep to actually have them! Couldn't be happier.

Amazing for my custom pillow!
The quality is amazing! It smells good (no animal odor) and while there is some debris, it is nothing really. It also is NOT chemically treated because I am severely allergic to the chemical normally found on wool so I am amazed and loving every square inch! Looooove the feel and softness of the wool! I have barely started sleeping on the wool but I got to say it beats cotton or that slippery polyester! I have a neck injury and the height of my pillow matters to a very fine degree. I have been pillow searching for years and decided to make my own pillow. I made a much smaller size, like travel size, and I rolled this wool in the case. I am still working on the height but its so close right now. I made it extra firm which is still surprisingly comfortable! It's firm without losing the give or being hard as a rock. I could loosen it up (would be perfectly soft and fluffy) but I need the firmness to support my head at the right height. I will definitely be back to buy the wool you guys have for the comforter because I am just loving the temperature of this at night! I live in the desert in Vegas and I need all the temperature help I can get!

Better Than Expected!
I wasn't exactly sure what to expect from wool batting so I only bought two pounds to begin with, but I am already planning to buy more. I am so pleased with what arrived! The wool is so soft and cozy, easy to cut down and fold for custom sizes, and smells so good! I love that this wool comes from New York state and is minimally processed; there are still tiny pieces of debris in the wool, but I like that, it's proof that this wool hasn't been aggressively washed and handled. I can't speak to the durability of the wool, but I love that I can simply cut more wool to add to a pillow if the wool compresses. I'll be replacing all of our throw pillows with this batting, and sewing up some new covers!
