We provide you everything you need to make your own wool filled comforter.  Save money and make it yourself.  All you need is time, large area to work and a sewing machine.  We provide you with:

  • 4 lbs of wool batting to fill queen size comforter (88"x88")
  • organic cotton sateen fabric for the cover (230 thread count)
  • tufting material of very strong cotton/linen thread
  • tufting needle
  • detailed instructions

The wool is cleaned with only biodegradable soap and hot water.  The batting measures 90"x 90" when it is unfolded.

The organic cotton sateen fabric is cut 90"x90" to give one inch seam allowance on all sides.

This simple kit provides you all the ingredients to make your own awesome wool comforter.  You provide the labor and save money!  You lay out the fabric, cover it with the wool, lay out the second piece of fabric and tuft all three layers together.  You fold up the bottom fabric over the top fabric and top stitch on your sewing machine or stitch by hand.
